Our Philosophy
Junior High is the season of big questions — about faith, identity, and calling. At Artios, we lean into that. Our program meets students where they are and gives them the tools, the space, and a genuine community of peers and mentors to discover who God made them to be.
We deepen the integrated academics from Elementary while adding rigorous math and science pathways. On Wednesdays, Creative Studios gives every student a structured opportunity to explore their gifts alongside others doing the same — so they enter high school not just academically ready, but known, grounded, and excited about the future God has for them.
On Campus
Our teachers facilitate deeper discussion, sharper thinking, and genuine creative exploration — building on your at-home work and pushing students toward greater independence.
At Home
You remain the lead educator. As students mature, you help them take greater ownership of their learning rhythm, pace, and habits — coaching rather than directing.

Two Days On Campus
Mondays are dedicated to rigorous academics. Wednesdays open the door to discovery through Worldview and student-chosen Creative Studios.
Monday — Academic Core
A full day of integrated, Christ-centered academics. Students engage Scripture, history, literature, math, and science in a community of peers led by master teachers.

Wednesday — Worldview & Creative Studios
Wednesday is a day of grounding and exploration. Students anchor the morning in Worldview, then spend the rest of the day pursuing a Creative Studio that sparks their gifts and passions.

Our Approach
"Junior High isn't a problem to manage — it's a season to embrace."
What We Teach
Every subject at the Junior High level is taught with greater depth and intentionality. Students begin to own their education — asking harder questions, writing with more precision, and building the academic habits that will carry them through high school and beyond.
Every campus day begins with Bible. Junior High students engage with Scripture at a deeper level — wrestling with hard questions, exploring theology, and building a personal, examined faith that can withstand the challenges of the world.
On Campus
Teachers lead Socratic-style discussions and guided Bible studies that help students move from rote knowledge to personal conviction and application.
At Home
Students are encouraged to maintain personal Bible reading habits and bring questions to campus discussions. Parents reinforce the habit of Scripture as a daily anchor.
Artios Creative Pathways
Every semester, students choose three Creative Studios spanning the arts, creativity, technology, and leadership. Over two years, they have the opportunity to sample many different disciplines — finding what resonates, discovering hidden talents, and building real skills in the areas that excite them most — and learning how their areas of passion can be used to love and serve God and others.
Creative Studios rotate each semester, so no two years look the same.
