A Living Education
Young children are natural explorers — born with an insatiable curiosity about the world around them. At Artios, we don't suppress that wonder. We cultivate it. Our Lower Elementary program fans the flame of a child's God-given delight in discovery, ensuring that the years when learning feels most like play are the years when the deepest roots are formed.
History serves as the spine of the curriculum — connecting every subject into a living, unified whole. Academic subjects (math, reading, science) and arts disciplines (visual art, music, theater) all flow from and connect back to the great story God is telling through history. Students don't just learn facts; they experience learning through multiple lenses — intellectual, creative, and hands-on — making knowledge memorable and meaningful.
Our goal is not just academic readiness, but heart readiness. We want students who light up when they open a book, who create with confidence, who ask "why?" with genuine excitement. That love of learning — that sense of wonder — is the greatest gift we can give a child.

Our teachers serve as a "living textbook" — reinforcing, deepening, and bringing to life what you've covered at home through hands-on, Christ-centered community learning.
At Home
You are the lead teacher. You set the rhythm, pace the curriculum, and guide the learning environment. Artios equips you — it doesn't replace you.

What Happens Each Day
Monday — Academic Core
Academic Core day is where wonder meets discovery. Through Bible, History, reading, and math, students build a strong foundation of knowledge — not as isolated facts, but as pieces of one beautiful, God-ordained story. This is learning that shapes the mind and the heart.
Thursday — Arts Core
Arts Core day is where knowledge comes alive. Through history, art, music, and theater, students experience learning with their whole selves — creating, moving, singing, and imagining. This is where truth becomes beautiful, and beauty becomes true.

Why a Biblical & Historical Approach?
At Artios, we believe true wisdom comes from rooting our lives in God and His Word. We weave together academics and the arts to reveal God's hand in all of creation.
A Biblical Foundation
Education is more than acquiring facts. We anchor every subject in Scripture, helping students live biblically rooted lives — using their unique creative giftings for God's glory and developing a robust Christ-centered worldview.
History as God's Story
We view history as God's unfolding narrative, not a collection of isolated subjects. By contextualizing events through time, students discern truth, see the bigger picture, and discover their own role in serving God and others.

Monday — Academic Core
Every campus day begins with Bible. Students are immersed in the grand narrative of Scripture through story-driven curriculum designed to help children see Christ as the center of all of history — and their own lives.
At Home
Parents read along with their children during the week, making Bible the natural heartbeat of your home rhythms and a touchstone for family discipleship.
On Campus
Teachers lead group discussions and reflection questions that help students connect Scripture to everyday life, cultivating a personal and growing faith.
Thursday — Arts Core
Arts Core is not a separate program — it is the living expression of what students learn on Academic Core day. Every Thursday, the arts disciplines directly extend Monday's academics, so children experience the same material intellectually, creatively, and with their whole selves. All truth, beauty, and creativity flow from God — and every subject points to His story.

Beyond our core curriculum, students have the opportunity to explore their creative interests through optional enrichment clubs offered throughout the year.

Students discover and hone their art skills while exploring various mixed media. Working with excellent art instructors, they create projects that reflect the time period being studied in history.
Dance Studio

Students explore movement, rhythm, and creative expression through ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance fundamentals. Classes build coordination, confidence, and artistry in a joyful, Christ-centered environment.
Drama Club

Students experience the production of a play in an age-appropriate context. They hone verbal and movement skills, audition for roles, work with scripts, and learn stage production. Non-readers welcome; memorization required. Parent participation in Drama Club Parent Committee required.

Students are invited to join our youngest choir designed to introduce the joy of singing while fostering fundamental musicianship and vocal skills. Through energetic and interactive classes, students discover their vocal abilities. Choir members perform at Winter & Spring concerts.

Google Classroom is the central hub for parent communication and weekly planning. No grades are issued for K–6, but teachers use this platform to keep you informed, equipped, and connected to your child's learning.
